Your furry friends are sure to love these homemade apple and peanut butter dog treats! Homemade dog treats are easier than you think, especially when using freeze-dried apples!

Ingredients

1 oz. package of Brothers All Natural Fuji Apple Fruit Crisps

1, 1/2 cup bag Brothers All Natural Fuji Apple Cinnamon Fruit Crisps

2 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup oats

1/2 tsp salt

2 large eggs, well beaten

3 tbsp creamy peanut butter (NOTE: Remember to make sure your peanut butter does NOT contain Xylitol. This sweetener is highly toxic to dogs)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Mix freeze-dried fruit, flour, oats, salt, and cinnamon to the bowl and mix until combined.

3. Whisk together beaten eggs with the peanut butter then add to the apple mixture and mix until combined. The dough will be dry and crumbly so add about 1/4 cup of warm water, and mix until it sticks in a ball.

4. Knead dough 3-4 times until it comes together. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Using dog treat cutters, cut out desired shapes, and place on prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake until golden brown and crisp, about 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
